About Us

PAWSitive Growth For All is our legal nonprofit name, operating under the DBAs PAWSitive Growth and Sober Strength Apparel. All coaching services are offered through PAWSitive Growth, while Sober Strength Apparel helps support our mission through advocacy and awareness.

At PAWSitive Growth, we provide compassionate, judgment-free recovery coaching that complements—not replaces—therapy or treatment. Our mission is to empower clients with practical tools, accountability, and relapse prevention strategies that support lasting recovery.

We’re seeking Independent Recovery Coaches to join our mission-driven team. As a contractor, you’ll provide non-clinical coaching to individuals in recovery, helping them build skills, confidence, and resilience. You’ll have flexibility to manage your own schedule while ensuring clients receive timely, professional support.

Appointments are based on client demand and are not guaranteed. Contractors are paid weekly on Sundays for completed sessions that are documented in Simple Practice. 

• Provide non-clinical recovery coaching, relapse prevention strategies, accountability, and harm reduction support
• Maintain confidentiality and follow HIPAA standards using Simple Practice (our secure platform)
• Respond to secure messages during set client support hours (11 AM – 7 PM EST) or update availability in the system.
• Conduct professional virtual sessions in a confidential environment
• Complete session notes in Simple Practice by the end of each day
• Refer clients to higher levels of care when needed and follow emergency protocols
• Collaborate with therapists, treatment centers, and sober living homes when appropriate to support client care
   

• Must hold a valid recovery coaching certificate
• Malpractice insurance (required before beginning client work)
• Strong communication, organizational, and documentation skills
• Tech-comfortable and able to use HIPAA-compliant systems
• Professionalism, compassion, and cultural sensitivity in all client interactions
• Lived experience in recovery is welcomed and encouraged
